Prescott's Bike Month:
Prescott's Bike Month has a tradition of being unique, in that our bike "month" doesn't necesssarily follow a calendar month. The last couple of years, it has run from mid April through mid May. This year, the Bike Month Committee shifted it a week later to be able to include "National Ride to Work Day" on Friday May 20th. As soon was we made that decision, we regretted losing a week in April because so much was going on... so we added it to the calendar anyway. In Prescott there is good riding every month of the year... not just during our Bike Month... so stay connected with PAT to find riding opportunities all year long.

This year we had over twenty sponsors come forward to pay for the printing ot the calendar and it's insertion in the "Pop Rocket" newspaper... find a "hard copy" somewhere near you, and thank the bike friendly businesses that helped make it happen.

Check back here often because new events will be added and others updated on a regular basis, or friend "Prescott Bike  Month"  to get the news on facebook

One of the dozen volunteers who turned out to help paint new bike lane symbols April 26 on Willow Creek Rd. and Prescott Lakes Parkway.  This event was a collaborative effort coordinated by PAT and the City's Public Works Dept.  The City provided the paint and stencils, and we helped recruit the labor.  We will probably help organize more of these Stencil Days in the future.
